While the Rogue offers three years of roadside assistance, the Ford Escape offers a standard five-year roadside assistance plan with the purchase of a new model.
The Escape comes loaded with the SYNC Communications and Entertainment system with enhanced voice-recognition software, 911 Assist, and more. The Rogue lacks any comparable feature.
Ford Escape vs. Toyota RAV4
Both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4 come with a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and comparable fuel economy.
The Escape comes with up to five years of roadside assistance coverage whereas the RAV4 only covers two years. Both vehicles offer a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
The Escape starts at just $24,645, easily undercutting the RAV4’s $25,850 price tag.
